Leo Marcenas: the leader of the Light Army. Before Master Uther lost his mind. Leo was his excellent student. 
Mrs. Marcenas: Leo's mother. A Holy Priest. After her husband died in the war, she raised Leo up by herself.
Uther Lightbringer: ex-leader of the Light Army, Leo's master. After lost his mind, he turned to Master Dark and betrayed his country. 

Rating: PG

Setting: Northshire Valley
POV: first and third person
Plot: This story is before the Massare happened and before Leo became the leader of the Light Army.  Leo Marcenas was born in Northshire Valley of the Goldshire. Lived under his father's glory, Leo felt pround and pressure at the same time. When he reached his ago to leave the village to learn his skill he talked with his mother at the last night. After he went to Kalimor, Leo grew up and became stronger and finally he was qualified as a Priest. But when Master Uther fell into dark spell, everything was changed. Leo had to stand to fight against his beloved master to protect his country.

Plot:Ysondra is a night elf who was found near Lor'danel, she has no idea who she is and she continuously gets dreams where an unknown voice speaks to her. A new prophecy makes people wonder if she is a hero sent from the goddess herself to save them. Some think she is a reincarnation of Elune, some say she is the daughter of the goddess, but who is she really?

Comments: 

This fanfiction is a really good one. The storyline attracked my eyes at the first place. A mysterious elf was found on the beach, badly hurted without any memory. The voice she heard was from her reflection in the sea, which related to her mother. When elfs tried to identify her, they found out that she didn't belong to this world. The whole story was using a deductive approach. And I was inspired by the relationship between mother and daughter, so I set my main character have a relationship with his mother.

Plot: A druid who studies the Balance of the Sun and Moon named Melkeis sent to capture Twin Peaks from the horde but what will happen if the Twilight's hammer come to do a bit of slaughter to both horde and alliance... will Melke and his friends make it out alive and will their survival lead to more then just one victory

Comments:
This fanfiction gave me the idea that the charactor can be a student who was going to learn skill. Melke specialized in the balance of the sun and the moon. His friends are human and gnome. Usually human race don't have Light skill. But I was inspired by this novel. Since the character got 3 friends who specialized in different skills, maybe I can make my character very special, human race specialized in Light spell by learning in a school.

Plot: This the story of a obsessive archaeologist hunter, a steadfast but lonely warrior, and the most epic questline to ever exist on Azeroth. It is set Pre-Cataclysm, and was inspired by my inability to complete the quest line before it was taken out for the remake of the Old World. It is a tale of friendship, obsession, perseverance, and more than anything, the importance of love.

Comments:

Hunter is another popular profession in wow. I like this fanfiction because it has a deep description about the character's thinking and feeling, about the inside world. Her pet is another highlight. The language the author used is quite vivid. I tried to have a battle scenario before, but my vocabulary limited my story. However, I did enjoy this fanfiction.

Comments:

Not like the other wow fanfictions I've read, for this one I would like to leave some negative comments. Maybe the author tended to make a story which contains several story lines or complicated structure. So he/she just introduced the main character and second main character in a very brief way, too simple. The second main character doesn't even get a name. I think a good prologue should arouse the readers' curiosity. And the connection between characters must be strong, which I didn't find in this one. Therefore, I will try to avoid this kind situation happened in my fanfiction.

Comments:
Efl is always my favorite race, their unique appearance, pointed ears, silver hair are kind of an attraction to me. Most of the fanfiction I can find are about femal elf, but this one is a male elf, a blood elf. This ff gives me the idea about the Light Army, the Holy Light and the spell. At the beginning, my main character is a girl. After read this fanfiction, I think I might have a boy, Human race learning Light skill.
